T-Baby - Its So Cold in the D
“how da fuck do we posta keep peace?”
Lil Wayne - “Pussy Monster” (Prod. by David Banner)
It was a bit disturbing watchin him perform this song. I dunno if it was him enacting the song on stage or if it was every girl screaming “OOOOHHH WAYNE! Talk to me BABAY!” It was like every female took it as though he was dedicating that song to them.
Jay-Z - “Jockin Jay-Z” (Prod. by Kanye West)
This is the first single off Jay’s upcoming album “Blueprint 3″ which is rumored to be all Kanye-produced. Gonna need some time for this to grow on me, I know it will.
Bun B - “You’re Everything” feat. Rick Ross, David Banner, 8Ball & MJG
T.I. - “Whatever You Like”
N.E.R.D - “Everyone Nose” (Remix) feat. Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco & Pusha T
Whoooaa! Did you see that? Throwin up the R.O.C and StarTrak all in one hand sign!!!! Can you say “innovative?”
I flew into Philly late Tuesday night and met up with HBW’s own Davee. We decided to hit up the local bar and get a few drinks before we headed home. Three cranberry-vodkas, one blunt, and food poisoning from the nasty ass pizza on the plane led me to my demise. But let’s not get too into that.
Day 2
Purple City Byrd Gang HeadQuarters Philadelphia Chapter.
Headed over to Marathon Grill to kill that rare hangover.
Nick Cannon’s office building.
Then we made our way to LOVE Park. Honestly, I thought this shit was waaaay bigger.
After LOVE Park we headed on down to UBIQ, where Davee gets paid. I usually don’t get too amazed when I go to sneaker spots/boutiques because truthfully, once you’ve been to one, you’ve been to em all. Don’t get me wrong some stores respectably go in on the design tip but really there’s only a handful. UBIQ on the other hand, is one of the dopest stores I have ever stepped foot in. The design, the product, the people…. they got it all.
The 1st of 4 floors of UBIQ.

The same chandelier can be found in the Mr. West household. Don’t ask how much.

The 2nd Floor is occupied by the STUSSY pop-up shop which is managed by Davee
Davee, Corey, and Chris
On the other end of the 2nd floor is where the Vans sit. And yes, they have aaaallll sizes.
See, I told you…. SZ. 66!!!
Either my feet got bigger or my pants got tighter.
Yes, those are real Eames chairs.

P|ayer Pimpin’s Travels shall be continued…..

This is must hear status. This is the song you knew Wayne was capable of. No vocoder, no hook, just substantiated thought provoking flow. Not to say I don’t love the vocoder and polished hooks (because i do love it), but its nice to see such strong versatility from a rapper of Wayne’s caliber. Download and listen here
